Are you sick and tired of being exhausted, in overwhelm, and sick and tired

New Year Resolution 2008:

Relax and Reduce Stress For Good

Are you sick and tired of being exhausted, in overwhelm, and sick and tired?”

Sometimes even though you may be seeing the best doctors and taking the best medications or herbs and supplements, you still don’t feel too good.  It can be very frustrating and challenging.

Dr Susan Lange used to be in the same boat and can totally relate to how you feel. As a health practitioner she had access to the best doctors (some of them were her personal friends) and all the best, latest and most cutting edge health technology and supplements and she still wasn’t getting better.

“It didn’t matter what I took or what I did” she remembers, “I was still sick”. She suffered from chronic fatigue and environmental illness at the time and her story was written up in a magazine called “The Alternative Medicine Digest”, and also in a book called “Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Environmental Illness”.

Dr Lange writes:  “We had created an award winning, highly acclaimed and successful non-toxic clinic, the first on the west coast of North America, with ten different health care professionals, including Western and holistic medicine. We were written up as an Ideal Clinic in The Alternative Medicine Digest, featured on ABC Television, and we gave it up…..“Why? Because we knew we had to offer a deeper level of healing to our patients and students and we were committed to doing whatever it took.”

Dr Susan Lange and her husband, Dr Julian Lange, OMD, L.Ac. spent years researching ways to teach their patients and students how to find deeper levels of healing.

They have developed a system that helps you to access a deeper paradigm of health that does not require you to do any more work than you are already doing. In fact you may even find that it could be a lot more fun and take a lot less effort!  It may even help you to get a lot more benefit from those herbs and medications you might be taking, and from those great doctors you are working with.

Did you know that your body may not be able to take healing and nourishment until your nervous system calms down? Dr Susan found that until she connected with and related to her own body she couldn’t slow down enough to heal; until she released levels of her own trauma she couldn’t relax and until she practiced saying “NO” and “Stop!”, she wasn’t safe enough to heal.  Only then could she “fill up” with health, nourishment, and healing.

She has spent the last three decades researching:  Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Herbalism, Barbara Brennan Healing Science, Core Energetics  (body centered psychotherapy), Cranio Sacral Therapy, Pre Natal and Birth Therapy and Trauma Resolution, and has come up with a simple step by step system to help you access what took her decades, in the form of a series of CDs.

Originally created to support her own patients and students to continue their healing process, and to reduce stress and tension between sessions and workshops, these CDs also stand alone and support you in working with your own practitioner.

A considerable number of studies have documented the effects of the alpha, theta and delta waves in calming the body and boosting the immune system. Deeper slower breathing has been shown to help general health and relaxation.

So there are two levels of healing in the CDs, - the background music created specially by a hypnotherapist and the specific language and resonances used by Dr Susan Lange.

Do not listen to these CDs when driving or operating any machinery.

Volume I: “Slow Your Pace, Claim Your Space”

Reconnecting More Deeply with Your Body

Would you like to feel more centered and grounded? More comfortable in your own skin? In this CD, Dr. Susan Lange, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, guides you through a series of exercises that help you breathe deeply, relax, and tune in to your body on a deep level. Therapeutic background music helps you relax and glide slowly into deeper levels of breathing, to alpha, delta and theta states of awareness. This opens you up to be able to take full advantage of this gentle journey of self discovery. By breathing deeply and paying attention to the physical sensations in your body, you learn to use your body as biofeedback. This enables you to go at your own pace, relaxing little by little until you reach a stage of deep relaxation and connection with your body at a fundamental level. This enables you to experience a deep sense of well being that leads to a richly satisfying connection with the world around you.

Those who have listened on a regular basis have reported less overwhelm and stress in their lives and a greater sense of relaxation, confidence and inner peace. They have used it when preparing for surgery, preparing for conception and during pregnancy, for example, and more generally to enhance their innate capacity for healing.

“Use Your Body As Biofeedback”

Volume II:  “Releasing Trauma”

Through Honouring Your Body

This can be useful for any kind of trauma. Use in conjunction with Volume I. This has been used after accidents, surgery and old unresolved issues that are ready to heal.

Make sure you are working with a qualified therapist or Holistic Health practitioner if you have suffered any kind of major trauma or if you are at all uncertain. Old trauma is best released in tiny baby steps, so don’t push it and make sure you have a support team in place. It can also be very helpful if you take Natural Balance and Natural Cleanse in conjunction with listening to this CD.

“Healing is a Team Sport; it’s all about support”

Volume III: “Filling Up”

Listen to this only after Volumes I and II.  This one can offer valuable support if you have any kind of lack in your life either physical lack in the form of poor health, or financial or in relationships.  This is for any time when you use the words “never enough…”,  for example …never enough money, never enough time, never enough…………. . You fill in the blank.

You are encouraged to practice letting the “good stuff” in and some students have noticed that after using it for at least 30 days   they can begin to allow more abundance, intimacy and success into their lives.

We toggle back and forth between releasing old trauma and old toxicity, and then practicing receiving more nourishment and more support. In this volume “You are Training Your Brain to look for the good stuff.”

Once some old layers of trauma are released and your body starts being able to let more of the good stuff in, it can benefit more from the herbal formulas and other therapies.
